Yes, the title is not a clickbait. It is true that I got an internship at OEN India Limited, and I quit on the first day, which was the joining day itself.
There was no problem with the company, and I did not get enough time to experience the work environment. But I have many other problems because I am not using these four months only for an internship, and it is not aligned with my goal.
I am in the middle of creating a new product and turning it into a startup. I chose and tried hard to get an internship by doing many things to buy time. I wanted more time and more opportunities to generate revenue and use it for building the product.

I am studying for a diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and my internship was in an electronics company. I do not mind that as long as I get time, but the real problem is that survival is difficult because of certain situations.
The situations are: the place where this factory is situated is Mulanthuruthy, Ernakulam, a place that is almost like the Pathanamthitta region. The big problem is that there are no available rooms for two persons. We are not comfortable staying with more people, especially those we do not know, and both I and my teammate feel the same. Some of you may think we could take a room in other areas, but the issue is the work shift:
6 am to 2 pm, or 2 pm to 10 pm, or 10 pm to 6 am.
With these shifts, transportation becomes a big problem, and this schedule will affect my other plans. More importantly, there are only 1.5 days of paid leave per month, and I think we must maintain around 85 percent attendance. If we take a bike and travel from home, the petrol cost will be high, and the money we earn will not be enough to survive there along with pursuing our plans.
So we would have to do part-time work to earn more money. But with this schedule, how can we focus on our startup? And if we do not return home within two weeks, we will get a year back. There is no chance to take a risk by adjusting. If we attend college instead, there will be fewer students because most of them are in internships now, which means less disturbance in class and more focus for me on the project we are building.
So I quit the internship for my startup and my plans. Not only me, but also my teammate and friend Sayanth. We do not regret this. We would regret it if we did not choose this path now.We have done a lot of things to reach this point. It is a completely new story, and I will update it soon.
